Martin Mayo, 74, passed away at home surrounded by his family in Anchorage, Alaska. Martin was born on July 3, 1946, in Lipa City, Batangas, Philippines, to the late Platon Mayo and Maria Magpantay. Martin married the love of his life, Dina Mayo, where they met in the Philippines and tied the knot on April 12, 1991, in Lipa City, Philippines. He made his journey to Alaska in 1983, where he became a resident of Anchorage.

Martin was a loving husband, hardworking father of three, a thoughtful brother to his siblings, a fun uncle to his nephews and nieces and a cheerful presence to everyone, especially to his friends.

Martin is survived by his wife, Dina Mayo; daughters, Diane and Mara Mayo; and son, Martin Mayo Jr.
