John Dale Gibb

John Dale Gibb passed away, at age 60, after experiencing complications from a serious illness. He came to rest peacefully on Sept. 25, 2021, surrounded by loving family members.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Oct. 9, 2021, at 2 p.m., at 207 Markley Street in Yoder, Wyo.

John was born on Jan. 28, 1961, in Cheyenne, Wyo., and was raised there. He recently retired from a successful career in the oil industry. John spent many years of his life living in Soldotna, Alaska, where he pursued his passion of fishing on the river for salmon, and in the deep sea for halibut. John also enjoyed his frequent hunting trips where he spent quality time with his father, brothers and cousins. John left Alaska and returned to Wyoming in 2015, with his fiancee, Taffi Ingerson, and the two quickly adopted a new hobby of raising chickens, pheasants and ducks.

John is survived by his parents, John and Peggy; three daughters, Jessica, Brittany and Morgan; two brothers, Joe and Jamie; and five grandchildren, Camry, Caiya, Gavin, Brecken and Makenna. John was a kind and compassionate person who was known by all as a loving father, grandfather, son, brother and friend. He was deeply loved by all of his family and will be truly missed.
