Alaska resident of 45 years, Irene Sigrid Glaser passed away peacefully on Thursday, Nov. 18, 2021, of complications related to Alzheimer's disease. Irene was at her home in Willow, Alaska, surrounded by family, where she lived with her husband of 67 years, Don Glaser.

Born in Duluth, Minn., on April 26, 1932, Irene and Don met in third grade and spent an adventurous lifetime together.

Irene is survived by her husband, Don; three daughters, Linda of Woodbury, Minn., Karen of Anchorage, Alaska, and Elaine of Las Vegas, Nev.; four grandchildren, Meredith Johnson, Lucas Windingstad, Eric and Alex Glaser; and two great-grandchildren, Hew and Liam Johnson.
