Dr. David John Mulholland, or "Dr. Dave" as he was known, passed away on Aug. 15, 2021, after an unexpected accident in Show Low, Ariz. His immediate family was present with him at the hospital in Scottdale, Ariz., until he crossed over into heaven.

David was born in Hamilton Beach, Calif,. and his family moved soon after to Hammond, Ind. He left home, at age 17, for Rockford College, Ill., on a swimming scholarship. From there, he went onto Palmer College in Iowa and completed his education by the age of 23. He moved to Anchorage, Alaska, in 1982 and began his chiropractic practice in October of that year.

Soon after moving to Alaska, he met his wife Kristi in the spring of 1984. They wed on Sept. 21, 1985, and remained lovingly committed, looking forward to celebrating their 36th anniversary this fall.

David had many hobbies and passions, and was a lifelong learner. He most enjoyed spending time with his family, camping, fishing, hunting, flying and working on his airplane. He was a lifelong follower of Christ and a longstanding member of the Christian Businessmen's Committee. He truly enjoyed healing others and often stayed late at his clinic or visited friends and patients on weekends. With a selfless heart, he showed his love to his friends and family by acts of service.
