Christopher A.B. Seymore
May 16, 1975 -
Oct 3, 2021
Christopher Ars Brock Seymore passed from this earth to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, in his heavenly home on Oct. 3, 2021. Chris was born on May 16, 1975, in Fairbanks, Alaska, to William and Ruth Seymore.
Chris spent the earlier part of his life working for Gavora Mall Liquor & Fine Wine, Thrifty Liquor, Chena Hot Springs Resort, and the latter years of his life he worked at Interior Alaska Fish Processors. Chris made many friends throughout the years, both in Fairbanks and Anchorage. He was full of humor loving to make people around him laugh. He was also a very giving person.
He had a few hobbies that he loved doing whenever he had time from work. He loved doing artwork, beading, dream catchers, playing the guitar, scrabble, chess and putting together puzzles with his mother. In the summertime he loved picking berries when he could. I want to thank the spiritual counselor chaplain David Rumph for spending time with Chris reading from the Bible and praying with him. The family was blessed to witness him say the sinner's prayer repeating after the chaplain and to feel God's Spirit and God's comforter as Chris left this earth. This reminds us of the story in the Bible of the Prodigal Son who loved the ways of the world, and at the end of the road he came home and asked his father for forgiveness, his love, his mercy and grace. Praise be to our Heavenly Father.
Chris leaves behind his parents, Bill and Ruth Seymore; brother, Gerald Dale Ivanoff; sisters, Melody Calhoun, Larissa Ivanoff and Tara King; two nephews, Dominic Ivanoff and Alex Ivanoff; six nieces, Jennifer McIntire, Staci McIntire, Paige Ivanoff, Aleseya Calhoun, Minessa Calhoun and Chloe Calhoun; two brothers-in-law, Alan Calhoun and Tom King; one sister-in-law, Sandra Ivanoff; aunts, Anna, Clara and Darlene Lvanoff, Betty Menard; one uncle, George Menard; his very special nephew, Eric Ivanoff; and a number of cousins, two of whom were very special to him, Aaron Johnson and Harold Ivanoff III.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold and Lillian Ivanoff; uncles, Harold Ivanoff Jr. and his wife Ruth, Larry Ivanoff; and cousin, Noah Cross,
His aunt Betty Menard writes: "Chris you have shared much love and joy with so many of us now you are on your way to experience new ways of love and joy. One day we will meet again."
Thank you to the Spiritual Counselor Chaplain David Rumph, the nurses from hospice and the director from Legacy-Chapel of Chimes, Richard Worland. God Bless you all for the help and care you gave Chris.
