Carla Lee Greenwell Robbins Lewis, 86, passed away on Oct. 4, 2026.

Born on July 30, 1940, in Nevada City, Calif., Carla lived a life centered on family, faith, creativity and adventure. She was a devoted mother and later shared nearly 30 wonderful years with her husband, Robert "Bob" Lewis, blending their families and building a life filled with travel and time together.

Alaska held a special place in Carla's heart. She and Bob shared many adventures here. Her extraordinary quilting earned honors at the Alaska State Fair. Carla will be remembered for her love of reading, music, travel and creating beautiful things, but most of all for the way she loved her family and made those around her feel good.
